As y’all may know, I was in NYC this weekend for the Harper Collins event and I started a new job so life has been so big crazy. Thank you so much for being patient with me and rocking with me!

✨Mimosa - Something that went well last week✨

Well the elephant in the room - MY FIRST BRAND TRIP!!!! I was very very very nervous on the first day. Meeting so many people IRL, especially people that I look up to was so daunting. But it ended up being the perfect weekend filled with so many memories that I will never ever forget!!! I’ll have the run down/book haul video up for y’all tomorrow hopefully. Ive got a LOT of footage to edit.


✨Belgium Waffle - Something I am looking forward to this week✨

R E S T. I don’t think I went to sleep earlier than 3 a or woke up past 7 am that whole weekend. I was out on the town and doin my thang but now my body is rebelling! I am so excited to be back in my own space and just chillaxing and relaxing.

✨Turkey Bacon - Something that irked me last week✨

It’s time to take my braids out. Which is so annoying becasue now I actually have to do my hair every morning. I can’t just roll out of bed, oil my scalp and call it a day. I was hoping they would last me a little longer, but I was already pushing it by keeping them in for 3 weeks LOL. Guess I’m rocking my natural curls for Pride!!

📚Last Book Read📚

My last book was still How You Get the Girl. I have been so buys, reading has been the last and first thing on my mind. Last cause I have no time to. First because I wish I did!!

Still 3% into Children of Blood and Bone!!

I listened to a bit more of where the dark stands still and I think I can finish it in the coming days!

I started the Prospects by KT Hoffman and I am loving it so far!!
